Sitting with the Lord

Eucharistic Adoration is the practice of praying before the Blessed Sacrament — the consecrated host — which Catholics believe to be the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ.

During adoration, the host is placed in a monstrance on the altar, and the faithful are invited to simply sit, pray, read Scripture, or rest in silence in the presence of Christ.

You don't need to say or do anything special. You just come as you are.
